Driven by a passion for understanding the biology behind type 1 diabetes, Cecilie Amalie Brøgger Svane is a Danish stem cell researcher and molecular biologist. Her work explores how pancreatic beta cells are affected by autoimmune disease and how stem cell technologies can be used to model, understand, and ultimately improve treatment strategies for diabetes. With a strong background in translational research at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, she is dedicated to turning fundamental biological discoveries into knowledge that may benefit future patients.
